1. About HiBFF

HiBFF ("Hi Brave Friends Forever") is an online educational platform operated by HiBFF Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom. HiBFF uses AI-powered Practice Partners to help users build real-world social and communication skills.

By creating an account or using HiBFF, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. What HiBFF Is

HiBFF is a practice tool for social skills. It helps users rehearse everyday conversations, build confidence, and prepare for real-life interactions. HiBFF exists to help you need it less.

3. What HiBFF Is NOT

HiBFF is not:

• A therapist, counsellor, or mental health service.
• A medical or clinical advisory tool.
• A crisis helpline or emergency service.
• A replacement for real human relationships.
• A diagnostic tool for any condition.

4. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Users aged 13-17 must provide a parent or guardian's email at registration.
• Users under 13 are not permitted to use HiBFF (COPPA compliance).

5. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information at registration.
• You may not share your account with others.
• You may close your account at any time from Settings. Your data will be deleted within 90 days.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

• HiBFF Starter is free with limited features.
• HiBFF Plus (monthly or annual) provides additional Practice Partners, voice minutes, and features.
• Payments are processed securely by Airwallex. We never see or store your card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Hearts/Credits: In-app purchases of Hearts are non-refundable once used.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass the safety guardrails.
• Use HiBFF for harassment, threats, or abuse.
• Share illegal, violent, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate another person.
• Use automated tools to access HiBFF (bots, scrapers).
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute HiBFF's technology.

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

8. AI-Generated Content

Responses from your Practice Partner are generated by artificial intelligence. While we apply strict safety guardrails:

• AI responses are not professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic).
• AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or unhelpful responses.
• You should not rely on AI responses for important life decisions.

9. Parent & Teen Charter

The HiBFF Family Programme allows parents and teens to agree on shared goals for social skills development. The Charter is a mutual commitment — neither party can override the other's choices within HiBFF.

10. Intellectual Property

HiBFF, its design, technology, content, and branding are owned by HiBFF Ltd. AI-generated avatar images are provided under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any HiBFF content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

HiBFF is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiBFF Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of HiBFF after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
